Her
father was Nigerian, and her mother is White (Scottish) (From People
Magazine). She got her big break at 22, cast as Eddie Murphy's
love interest in 1997's Metro. Also appeared in I Want You,
Love's Labour's Lost, and she starred as Sally Hemings in Sally
Hemings: An American Scandal. |

mother is Black and her father is of Chinese descent (according to

Lyn Fan Site). Has appeared in movies such as "Feast
of All Saints" (2001 mini TV Series), "Bless
the Child" (2000), "Dying to Dance" (1999 TV) "Student
Bodies" (1997 TV Series), "Eric's World" (1991
TV Series), "On Thin Ice: The Tai Babilonia Story" (1990

Taimak Guari |
His
father is White (Italian) and his mother is Black. At 18 years
old Taimak starred in the martial arts classic film "Berry Gordy's
The Last Dragon". He went on to model, teach martial arts
and pursue acting in New York as well as starring in music videos
opposite Janet Jackson and Debbie Allen. He aslo had a reoccurring
role playing a bartender on Beverly Hills 90210, a guest spot on the
season premiere of Ally Mcbeal and a role in BET's arabesque film

Her
mother (Diana Ross) is Black, her father is White. Currently
starring in the show Girlfriends on UPN. She is a graduate
of Brown University and the esteemed William Esper Acting Studio.
In addition to her success as an actress, writer, and producer, Ross
has been a model - having worked with top photographers and gracing
the pages of numerous fashion magazines. She has also hosted her own
television program, the acclaimed "The Dish." |

Sydney Tamiia Poitier |
Her
father, Sidney Poitier, is Black, her mother is White. Sydney
Tamiia Poitier makes her television series debut as Riley Kessler,
a beautiful, compassionate law associate on NBCs 'First Years.'
She also starred with John Goodman in the cable movie 'Happy Birthday,'.
Poitier also co-starred in the 1999 feature film 'True Crime,' playing
a newsroom assistant opposite Clint Eastwood and Denis Leary. That
same year, Poitier starred as the headstrong Ruth in the highly rated
NBC miniseries 'Noahs Ark'. |

Her
father was White, her mother Black (According to an interview in Chatelaine's
March 1999 issue). Most famous for her role as Jeanie Boulet on the
hit show ER. She began as a model in Canada, and appeared in
commercials and in small roles on Canadian television. In 1988, she
relocated to Los Angeles and became a regular on "The Round Table"
and a guest star on "The Young Riders", "China Beach",
and 3 episodes of NBC's "Homicide: Life on the Street" among
other series. She also co-starred in the feature films TimeCop
and Nick of Time. Her TV movies include "Percy and Thunder"
and NBC's "Confessions: Two Faces of Evil." |

Clark Johnson |
His
father is Black and his mother is White (from an article in the Kansas
City Star). Best known as porkpie-hatted Detective Meldrick
Lewis on NBC's "Homicide," Johnson has been making a name
for himself as an episodic director of such series as "NYPD Blue."
Most recently he directed HBO's new civil rights drama "Boycott."

Rosario Dawson |
She
is quoted as saying, "I'm Puerto Rican, Black, Cuban, Irish and
Native American," in an interview
on E!Online. I don't know what parent is what though.
She made her debut playing the troubled Ruby in the movie Kids.
She also had roles in the indies Side Streets and Girls
Night Out, before Spike Lee cast her in He Got Game. She
also starred in Light It Up, Down to You and Josie and
the Pussycats. |

Cree Summer |
Her
father is White (actor Don Francks), and her mother is Black.
She does the voice of Susie in Rugrats. She is best known for her
role on the TV show, A Different World where she played Freddie. She's
also been doing cartoon voices since she was twelve years old, on
shows such as Tiny Toons Adventures, Sonic the Hedgehog, Ghostbusters,
Pepper Ann, and Jungle Cubs. Cree is also a singer and has released
an album called Street
Faerie which was produced by fellow MixedFolk Lenny Kravitz. |

Mario Van Peebles |
His
father (filmmaker Melvin Van Peebles) is Black, his mother is White
(German actress Maria Marx). He began with a series of Off-Broadway
plays and modeling. Other roles followed which included parts in Delivery
Boys, L.A. Law, Heartbreak Ridge, Jaws: The Revenge, and Sonny Spoon.
His directorial debut in 1991 with New
Jack City. He also directed and starred in Posse
and Panther.
In 1996, he starred in the action film Solo.
Recently Mario landed the role of Malcolm X in Ali, a soon-to-be released
Columbia Pictures film about the life of boxing legend, Muhammed Ali. |

Maya Rudolph

father is White. Her mother (singer Minnie Riperton) is Black. Recently
joined the cast of Saturday Night Live. After a brief singing career
she decided to pursue a career in comedy. She quickly rose up the
ranks at the famed Groundlings Theater in Los Angeles, where she served
as a regular Sunday company writer/performer. From there she landed
the job at SNL.

Tammy Townsend

father is White (English and Yugoslavian) and her mother is Black.
Tammy Townsend made her "Days of Our Lives" debut on April
1, 1994 as the struggling single mother, Wendy Reardon. In addition
to her daytime appearances, she has had guest-starring roles on
several other series, including "In the Heat of the Night,"
"Quantum Leap," "Family Matters," "Charles
in Charge" and "Crime and Punishment." Other credits
include roles in The Five Heartbeats, The Brady Bunch Movie, Divas,
and The Pest.
