Comics Featuring Mixed Characters
There aren't many (if any at all) comic strips that are written by and for Black people. The Boondocks by Aaron Mcgruder is one of them. In my opinion this is the funniest comic ever made! It regularly features a Mixed character named Jazmine Dubois. Below are some of the strips that she is in that deal with her multiracial heritage. All comics are taken from and are the property of UComics and Aaron Mcgruder.
Jazmine thinks about the things that all Mixed Folks think about while Huey helps her out.
Huey muses about actor Vin Diesel
Jazmine is introduced for the first time and she doesn't consider her self Black and does not like her hair to be considered an Afro.
Jazmine meets her new best friend who is White and doesn't think Jazmine is really "Black" (Mixed)
Huey (the main character of the strip) is giving Jazmine a hard time because he says she's Black and she refuses to believe it.
Jazmine's first day at school. Huey is giving her a hard time again and nobody knows just what she is.
