Ben Nighthorse Campbell

His mother was Portuguese and his father was a Northern Cheyenne Indian. Elected to the U.S. Senate November 3, 1992, the first American Indian to serve in the Senate in more than 60 years. Before that he served from 1987-92 in the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Colorado's Third District. Also served in the U.S. Air Force in 1951-53, stationed in Korea, attaining the rank of Airman 2nd Class.


Linda Chavez

Her mother is White and her father is Hispanic. Chavez is President and John M. Olin Fellow at the Center for Equal Opportunity. She wrote Out of the Barrio: Toward a New Politics of Hispanic Assimilation. She writes columns for USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, The New Republic, Commentary, and Crisis. She also makes regular appearances on PBS's weekly public affairs program To the Contrary, CNN's weekday morning show CNN & Co., CNBC's nightly news and talk program Equal Time, and as a political commentator on The MacNeil-Lehrer News Hour. Chavez has held a number of political positions, among them White House Director of Public Liaison (1985) and Director of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights (1983-85).


Bill Richardson

His mother is Mexican and his father is White. He was the United States secretary of Energy under President Bill Clinton. From January 1997 until he became energy secretary, Richardson was United States ambassador to the United Nations, the first Hispanic American to hold that post. Prior to that Richardson, a New Mexico Democrat, had served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1983 to 1997.


Franklin Chang-Diaz

His mother is Costa Rican and his father is Chinese. He's one of the most prominent astronauts and scientists in the world. His success in space missions equals his accomplishments and discoveries in the laboratory. He participated in his first space mission aboard the Columbia spacecraft. In this trip Chang observed the Halley Comet closely, and he conducted several experiments dealing with the ozone layer around the Earth and the formation of ice in space. This first mission would be one of several others that would come later.


Geraldo Rivera

His father is Puerto Rican and his mother is White. He began his television career in 1970 as a reporter with WABC-TV. Later, Rivera served as host of his own late-night program, “Good Night America,” as a roving reporter for “Good Morning America,” and a correspondent on “20/20.” He hosted his own daytime talkshow for 11 years and currently hosts a show on CNBC. In addition to his work at CNBC, his investigative reports air in prime time on NBC, and he regularly appears on the “TODAY” show. He has won numerous honors, including seven Emmys and the prestigious Peabody Award.The author of seven books, including his controversial autobiography, Exposing Myself.


David Blaine

His mother is White (Russian-Jewish) his father is Puerto Rican. His first TV special aired in May 1997, David Blaine: Street Magic, wowing unsuspecting passers-by with his talent. In his next special, he takes it up a notch, doing magic for the people of Haiti and Venezuela, then returning to New York to show off his varied abilities-from reviving a dead fly to reading minds. Last year he stood in a frozen block of ice for 3 days in front of Times Square for a television special.


Tina Landon

According to Latina magazine she was, "Born in southern California to a Mexican mother and a Spanish English father". She started as a Laker Girl and went on to dance in and choreograph music videos and stage shows. She is a five-time MTV Choreography Award nominee and was The MTV award recipient for Michael and Janet Jackson’s “Scream” and for Ricky Martin’s “Livin La Vida Loca”. She aslo got an Emmy nominination for her outstanding work on the Velvet Rope Tour. She also was the Recipient of Dance Masters of America’s 115th Choreographer of the Year Award, the recent 2000 nominations from the MVPA (Music Video Production Awards) and the Special ALMA Achievement Award.

Jeans model, and one of the most in-demand runway models in the world. She has walked down the runway for the following designers: Cynthia Rowley, Vera Wang, Christian Lacroix, Emanuel Ungaro, Betsey Johnson, Girls Rule, Richard Tyler, Emporio Armani, Giorgio Armani, Fendi, Randolph Duke, Ralph Lauren, and Valentino, and Victoria's Secret.

Her mother is Salvadoran and her father is White. She has been considered one of the most coveted women in the world of fashion, and glamour photography. Designers such as Versace, Chanel, Christian Lacroix, and Azzedine Alaïa requested that she be in their shows. She signed an exclusive contract with Calvin Klein to represent their perfume Eternity. Then Maybelline beauty products acquired Christy's services to be the star model for their campaigns . Today she is represented by the Ford agency. She was immortalized when the Metropolitan Museum of Art commissioned 120 castings of her face to replace the heads of their mannequins.

According to an article about him he grew up in the Bronx, son of a Columbian mother and a Belgian father. Best known as the face of Guess?, Chris O has been photographed by Pablo Alfaro, by Bruce Weber on his first photo shoot for A&F, by Liz von Hoene, Dean Isidro and Randall Mesdon among others. Over the past year he has shot campaigns for A&F, Sean John, and Guess? Popular on the runway, he has also done shows for Sean John, Pelle Pelle, Liz Claiborne, Ron Chereskin, Fendi, Avirex and others.
